This is a proven off shore design by J. Fennell. The hull and rudder was manufactured by Liberty Yacht in 1985 (the year of the boat will be the year of completion). The fiberglass hull thickness ranges from 1″ to 3/8″ thickness. It is a very strong and well built hull with a rudder designed to handle the heavy seas.

The old traditional design of ¾” plywood deck on Mahagony beams and teak to plank the deck if you like teak. Or you could fiberglass and gelcoat it. This decision would be yours (maybe sell the teak to pay for the boat). All wood on the boat has been saturated with 3 coats of West Epoxy before assembling for moisture protection.

A new Westerbeke 3cy. 21hp diesel engine is installed with the shaft and 14″ three blade propeller. The remote control and the exhaust systems are included and ready to install. The 35 gallon diesel fuel tank was professionally built, tested, and certified and is installed under the quarter berth. Two 30 gallon water tanks (60 gal.) are installed under the seats.

The mast and boom are painted aluminum and are still in the cardboard shipping tubes with the mast head light system (mast shipping tube appx. 44′ long). The lead ballast has been installed along with the mast base.

For transporting, there is a heavy duty trailer which will function later as your cradle.
There are stairs in which to get on the boat and scaffolding all the way around to use while working.

Needed to complete (to the best of my knowledge:*

Interior cabinetry and bright work.
House top (left off until interior is completed to make it easier to enter and exit while working on the interior).
Assemble a portion of the cockpit with precut and epoxy parts after installing the existing engine remote and exhaust system.
Deck hardware
Electrical
Pluming
Standing Rigging
* see list for parts included

I am getting too old to sail a boat this size and I have lost interest.
I am offering this for sale at my cost. I am donating the hundreds of hours of labor and just marking that off as having fun.
