**Boat Inspection**

At Jones Marine Services, our highly-trained marine mechanics and technicians perform complete and thorough vessel inspections. We will accurately diagnose your recreational or commercial vessel to help you make decisions about what and when to repair any system on your vessel. Our goal is to ensure your vessel is reliable, safe and comfortable when you are on the water. In addition to these services, we also perform “survey haul outs for boat buyers and sellers, and for vessels that need to be surveyed for insurance renewal. We work with boat surveyors and brokers and can help you with the logistics of scheduling the survey.

**Boat Inspection Process**

Boat inspections include any or all of the following: engine, mechanical and electrical systems inspections, electronics, fuel systems, bilge pumps, plumbing, underwater hardware, running gear, and battery charging, etc.

Following the inspection, Jones Marine Services will also provide an estimate of recommended repairs that would be necessary for boat maintenance, current issues or potential problems. The inspection time varies, depending on the area of need and type of vessel. JMR offers an hourly rate of $95 for the inspection service.
