**Trailer Axle and Spindle Replacement**

Axle spindle replacement is sometimes a cheaper alternative to replacing the entire axle, and significantly cheaper and faster. Most common spindles for 2000 lb. and 3500 lb. axles can be replaced for $100 per side, less hubs. If new hubs are needed as well, complete hubs with bearings, races, seal, dust cap, and new lug nuts are $30 to $35 including tax. Individual parts such as bearings, seals, etc. are available separately at equally low prices, and I try to keep ample stock of the most popular items here at my shop in Roseville.

Larger axles and parts can be accommodated for moderately more cost, but still far cheaper than replacement. All trailer parts from below the frame are my specialty including tire/wheel combos, springs, shackles, U-bolts, equalizers, tongue jacks, etc. If a new axle is required that I don’t have available locally, there is currently a 3-5 week lead time for fabrication according to axle style and capacity.
